Big Air Dogs Competition

Big Air® is the original and still most popular Dockdog event from the US, because people like to compete and have something to do with their dog which doesn’t require lots of time and training.
In Big Air® anyone seven years of age and over with any breed of dog
(no matter how big or small) and a throw toy can compete.
Each dog and their “handler” are a competition team and each team competes head to head against one another to see which team can jump the furthest distance.
Each team is allotted 90 seconds to get their dog down the dock and into the water. Every dog that jumps off the dock gets an official jump recorded which correlates into a national ranking for the team.
The official jump distance will be measured from the lateral midpoint of the end of the dock to the point at which the base of the dog’s tail breaks the water’s surface, and when it’s all said and done…the dog that jumps the furthest wins the prize.
So a dockdog event in the UK is part of a much larger picture, it presents an unmissable opportunity to become the British Champion in one of the fastest growing and most exciting canine water sports in the world. The event will consist of heats or waves with a final at the end of the day and the end of the show.
Best Jump of the Day Prize
Best Jump of the Show Weekend Prize
The entry fee of £10.00
will qualify your dog for a training session and a qualifying jump.
To avoid disappointment you can pre-register for a guaranteed place
