We are delighted to announce that The East Anglian Air Ambulance raised almost £1000.00 at this year's show.

"The East Anglian Game & Country Fair is an excellent opportunity for us to meet our supporters and tell the people of our region all about our life-saving emergency service.  We are grateful for the ongoing support of the show that this year enabled us to raise almost £1000.00 of much needed funds, whilst enjoying a great weekend out. 

The East Anglian Air Ambulance now runs two fully medically equipped helicopters (code-named Anglia One and Anglia Two) serving the people of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Between the two helicopters they are able to provide a life-saving resource reaching patients quickly and if required, transporting them to hospital within minutes. 

With no direct government or National Lottery funding, on-going public support from the people of East Anglia is essential to enable us to continue offering this vital service.  We will look forward to a successful Game & Country Fair in 2011!" - Hannah Clay, Area Fundraising Manager
