Days Till Show * 83 Days * 9 Hours
The East Anglian Game & Country Fair took place on the 16th & 17th April 2011, the show was a great success, and we would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the show.
The weather was good for us once again, and the show attracted large crowds especially on the Sunday. We have received many positive comments from attractions, exhibitors and visitors who really enjoyed their visit to the Game Fair and loved the new displays we had on in the main arena and around the showground.
Our continuous investment into more attractions definitely seemed to attract large crowds and this looks promising for attracting a wider audience base for next year, as well as retaining our existing regulars that enjoy the favourites we continue to invite. We look forward to hosting exciting new equine events that will be incorporated into the Fair in 2012.
Our extensive advertising campaign certainly helped, this included radio advertising and interviews, coverage in over 80 national and local publications. Over 100,000 leaflets were distributed across the region and over 500 roadside boards went up along major routes in East Anglia. We were also delighted that ITV Anglia were able to come to the show on Saturday to do a report and interview with Andy for the news.
Everything seemed to run so smoothly this year and the set up was great! We felt it was our best show to date.
We are already back in the office and busy planning next year's show, the dates are the 28th & 29th April 2012, we look forward to seeing you again next year.
