Since moving to the Hunny Bell Andy has developed a deep rooted passion for his local suppliers and ingredients, and is just as likely to be seen walking in the local meadows alongside Duncan Jeary's favourite Aberdeen Angus Herd as behind the stoves!
A previous winner of the 2005 EDP Young Chef of the Year, Andy was the Sous Chef at the Award winning Wildebeest Arms for 2 years before being promoted to Head chef of the Hunny Bell. Andy could have chosen the world of football for a career having trialled for Aston Villa at an early age but cooking is his great passion second only to his beautiful young family
This year Andy backed up his previous track record as a chef for the future with the winners medal at the Great British Pub Food Awards 2011 in the Dessert Category with his sumptuous assiette of chocolate dessert.
