Due to the level of interest from her work on (www.pakefieldferrets.co.uk and www.pakefieldproduce.co.uk ) Simon and Marie have just put the finishing touches to a DVD entitled "From Field to Fork", A Guide to Preparing and Cooking Rabbit. A film that illustrates everything about preparing and cooking this versatile and healthy meat we should know but unfortunately don't. This film will be available this year at the turn of July. During Marie's cooking demonstration the areas covered in her easy to follow and relaxed style are the preparation of the rabbit through to cooking one of a selection of tasty recipes and then normally finishing with a quick question and answers segment. Simon Whitehead will also do an introduction talk of around 5 minutes detailing the role people like him play in the start of the preparation in the field.
As more and more of the modern day consumers become aware and concerned about the provenance of their food, these demonstrations are becoming more and more popular as each season passes.
